Renaissance Providence Downtown Hotel

The Renaissance Providence Downtown Hotel occupies a building originally constructed in 1929 as a Masonic Temple, with architectural details like two regal thrones in the lobby carried throughout the corridors and rooms. Guest rooms are large and feature premium bedding, marble flooring, chandeliers, and Aveda bath products. Rooms facing east offer views of the Rhode Island State Capitol building.

The hotel's on-site restaurant, Public Kitchen & Bar, serves American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Temple restaurant offers meals in a basement-level dining room. Room service is available, though the kitchen closes between 11:00 and 4:00 for lunch.

The hotel operates a 24-hour fitness center that guests described as large, well-equipped, and recently renovated. A business center and meeting facilities with audiovisual support are available for conferences and events. The hotel provides daily housekeeping, dry cleaning, and luggage storage services.

The hotel has multiple on-site venues for events, including spacious meeting and conference facilities. It is located in the Capitol District, minutes from Rhode Island School of Design, Providence Performing Arts Center, and historic government buildings. Business professionals attending conferences and leisure travelers exploring cultural attractions are the primary audience.
